I'm switching back to paper paystubs, as soon as I figure out how to turn off electronic delivery.

I'll miss being able to review and compare them between different pay periods, and the local Admin will probably send me many nagging e-mails to turn it back on, but I have just encountered a serious downside.

EDS has changed the number outside people can call to verify employment. It is now a 900 number. They charge quite a bit per query.

I found this out from one of my co-workers who just had his bank reject his car loan, because they refused to pay to verify his employment. Apparently if he had a physical paystub, everything would be fine, but a printed one does not count.
